After seeing Dr. Rosenthal for about three years, I hit a rough spot. I was promptly thrown away like a piece of trash and flushed down the toilet. I was homeless for about three months in the dead of winter after being released to a homeless shelter that closed during the day. It impeded my mental health. Furthermore, her associates did not adequetely monitor my blood sugar and I was not given a diabetic diet, although I did ask if they had one. I was told that they didn't. She did nothing about it to my knowledge, except feed me her pill, which causes high blood sugar in many cases. Now, I understand that it is not a physicians job to keep one from homelessness, but it is their job to give their patient adequate care. I did not get adequate care in my opinion. If you value your life and well-being and want a doctor that will advocate on what you deem as your behalf, do not see her as your doctor. If you like being homeless in the dead of winter and want your rights stripped from you by her "system" at Mount Sinai, then I highly recommend this doctor. It was a horrific experience! But then, that's just my opinion and yes it is 100% true! I'm praying for the chance to counter-sue.
