After waiting for 3 hours past my appointment, they put my hand in an unnecessary cast even though they couldn't access xrays. I went back after a few weeks and asked for a splint instead of a cast. They said they "don't do splints." I got a second opinion (Northwestern) who said that a cast would have caused my ligaments to shorten and put me in a splint. Triester's office wouldn't give me copies of my x-rays, never answered their phone, and the waiting room was always full of angry people. AVOID!
