They are trying to "grow" and becoming totally dependent on computers, nothing wrong about doing that BUT as far as I am concerned they do not have the skills/people yet to be good at it. They appear to use a "call center" for some calls including surveys, main problem with that one is they leave messages that you can not understand. I have seen Dr Umang Patel for a good number of years, pretty good Dr but lately every visit is spent with him typing into his laptop. Almost every visit starts with a student (yes, I know they have to learn) but it is starting to get old repeating my total history each time I go in. Depending on which clinic you go to (and Woodridge is the WORST) it is a crap shoot as to the staff being nice/rude. Phone calls may or may not be returned, office manager is extremely rude/dismissive. I have had a few very GOOD Doctors that I like and then suddenly they are gone. There are a few Doctors there that I will not even schedule a visit with but generally speaking I can get in with the Dr I want within a day or two. I am starting to notice a huge number of patients there that do not speak English. Only stating that to point out what I said about them "growing" the practice...when this happens the quality goes down. I would have in the past given a FIVE star review. I cannot do that anymore.

Horrible Doc! Doesn't provide you a proper referral. My mom had a LOW TSH w/ reflext to FT4 and he said all her reports were normal, when in reality she had to decrease her thyroid dose. Also 2 visits to him for my mom's neck and head pain for 2 months non-stop... he diagnosed her with a muscle pull?!!??!! 2 visits in a row?? And then he ordered a Xray for that. Although she has no history of falling or hurting her neck or head. Went to a neurologist who diagnosed her with a permanent migraine. PLEASE DO NOT GO TO THIS DOC!!!!!!!!!!! Your symptoms will be completely overlooked and you may find out much later, when it's too late to prevent anything.
