I am not a person that likes to give ratings to doctors.
However, I wanted people to know what I think of the two people who cared for me at Smokerise Family Medicine...
Dr. Michael Baron and Catherine Kilgore, FNP-C

I was under the care of Cathy Kilgore for several years, even before she was in practice with Dr. Baron. The care & understanding that Mrs. Kilgore showed me is the reason I followed her to a different medical practice. This was a move I was very happy that I made.
Dr. Michael Baron is a very easy doctor to talk with. He quickly made me feel welcome and comfortable.
It was Great being under the care of a team like Dr. Michael Baron and Catherine Kilgore, ARNP.
I would still be with them if my husband had not gotten an offer for a job out of state, that we could not pass up. I can only hope that I am fortunate enough to find a PCP in my new home area as GOOD FOR ME as Cathy & Dr. Baron. I will truly miss them.

I've been other places that left me unattended for quite awhile, but not here. They would never leave me unattended and they always go the extra mile to make me feel cared for. I was amazed at how wonderfully they treated each of their staff members. They were so appreciative and thankful. I've never seen any employer treat their staff better, and it made me want to come back that much more. They were so kind and attentive to me. I didn't have to worry about them arguing with me, or contradicting what I had to say, which has been a problem for me at other places. They put in the extra effort to make me feel valued and important. They've never used foul language, which has bothered me at some of the other places I've been too. They always make an extra effort to be polite and courteous.
