My family and friends have come to know Bolke's Practice as crap. My niece had shingles, which eventually reached her eye. It was in her records that the shingles were in her eye but they didn't tell her, my sister or her husband. She started having eye irritation and so they took her to an eye doctor. She had a hole in her cornea! She had to go see a specialist an hour away and they had to put special eye drops in her eyes every 15 mins for 2 weeks. My sister and her husband took it in shifts. My niece barely slept.
My mother has had all kinds of issues with the practice. She's been in intense back pain for years. They just kept telling her it was arthritis. It's not. Her sciatic nerve is screwed up and she has to be on pain management now. On top of the meds he gave her got her addicted to them and she OD'ed on Tylenol.
I suffer from migraines. I had to go for 6 visits before I could get the referral that my insurance company has to have to see a specialist. In the meantime, I was suffering from horrible migraines and the wouldnt give me anything but naproxen, which is Aleve. I'm a redhead, genetically I'm different than most ppl b/c my nerves dont react the same. It takes a lot of drugs to knock me out. My husband ended up threatening to sue them if they didnt get their asses in gear and get me to a speacialist. Overall, they're horrid doctors at that practice
