Board-certified in Medical Oncology and Internal Medicine, Dr Ziegler received his medical degree from the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, MO. He completed residency training in Internal Medicine at Grandview Hospital in Dayton, OH and a fellowship in Oncology/Hematology at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston.
