The short version my advice to you is find another dentist who cares more about your dental health than the money you may bring them.

On the administrative side, Dr. Joao's office is run by a very incompetent staff. On the clinical side, his practice is substandard and can be even risky to your well being. I am not sure what kind of dental education he has but his professionalism needs more education, both in terms of manner and clinical competency.
