What an awful experience .My parents had been paying for my therapy from Dr. Lymberis twice a week for a couple months when it became too expensive for them to afford. When we all met in her office to discuss how we would proceed, she became visibly irritated and inquired whether or not I was to receive an inheritance from them, obviously insinuating that they should be using the money now, for the therapy, when I needed it?! When that tactic didn't work, she pressed on, explaining that I had had feelings of abandonment in my life and that they would be abandoning me again if they should terminate my therapy. Really?? My father was so shook up after that visit, he sideswiped a car downstairs in her parking garage. In a nutshell, I was 30 years old, pregnant with tons of hormones that had caused anxiety. I'm fine now.
