I really like the doctor and the standard of care I receive from him. He is attentive during each visit and always returns calls promptly. The front office staff is competent and capable. The billing staff, however, I find to be very rude and demanding extra payments in excess of co-pay amounts. The additional payments range betwee an added 10 - 20% of the visit to a full 100% of the visit even with the insurance. They like for patients to carry a credit balance with the practice and will not refund the credit unless you ask the doctor. I have been seeing this doctor for many years, and I have never walked away from the billing staff with good feelings. There are certain billing procedures that should be followed with insurance and copay, but the billing staff thinks they can do whatever they want.
