His Surgical Residency was completed at the New Rochelle (NY) Medical Center, and his Internal Medicine Residency was completed at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester, New York. He was accepted into Gastroenterology and Nutrition Fellowships at Loma Linda University Medical Center and the Veterans Administration Hospital in Loma Linda, California.
A leader in the field of gastroenterology, Dr. Rahbar has given numerous medical presentations, medical and non-medical lectures, and served numerous teaching academic appointment positions.
