Ok, I read the reviews here and I really think the ones from 178.38 and 149.126 are bogus. Out of the 10 or so times I've been here there has never been music played. Parking is hellish. They have maybe a half acre lot to park in. I usually have to find a spot up the hill and walk down. It isn't far, but to say there is plenty of parking is false, unless of course you get there right when the clinic opens.
I've never had to reschedule but it wouldn't matter anyway because it's the neighborhood health clinic that take walk-ins, so they'll see you eventually if you wait.

Now on to Cardones. I notice that those reviews dont mention anything about him as a doctor. They refer to him as they. Well, this is about Dr. Cardones directly so I will be specific about him and not "they."

Go to him early in the morning as that's when he's in a better mood and not as rushed. He as well as the other doctor I've seen there have so many patients that come to see them that the meeting and diagnosis usually is done well within 5 minutes. I've seen him smile twice and the visit never gets personal. He's very professional in that regard so if you're looking for a friendly doctor, he's not the one. Now he is open to your ramblings if you want to go on about your symptoms but I can tell that he usually has his mind made up within the first minute. He doesn't show any affect and I've never heard a tinge of empathy when talking about any pains.
Be sure to be clear in what your exact problem is because the visit is for that problem only. If there's a related issue, you can mention it, but usually the clinic only address one problem at a time. He rudely (maybe just his way of talking) mentioned it when I brought up another issue the first time I saw him.

In any case, he does do his job albeit on a neighborhood clinic type of way. Don't expect the same type of treatment as you would from a doctor/clinic with a smaller patient base.

I'm always amazed at how considerate and concerned they are for my well-being. Their advice is always wonderful and completely unbiased. They were so kind and attentive to me. I didn't have to worry about them arguing with me, or contradicting what I had to say, which has been a problem for me at other places. Their staff is the most friendly, welcoming staff I've ever dealt with. They are so warm and professional, and make the whole experience that much better. I felt that they really valued my health and happiness because they followed up even after my appointment just to check up on me. It was such a nice gesture that made a huge difference. I was seen almost as soon as I walked in the door. I didn't have to reorganize my day around my appointment at all.
