I've never had to worry about them being understaffed or not being able to help me right when I need it. They have a huge staff that's very knowledgeable and qualified. The office was easy enough to find. They listened closely to everything I was telling them, and showed a lot of attention to detail. I've never had to worry about them forgetting something or not reading my information correctly, which I've encountered at other places. I left the appointment wishing that they had answered more of my questions. They did answer some of them, but not all. They always return my phone calls quickly. I always know that I'll get a prompt answer to my question. That being said, I traveled from out of town for an appointment. Dr. laPatka was aware of this fact. I paid travel expenses and an overnight at a nearby hotel. The morning of my appointment, I was contacted and told Dr.LaPatka was unable to see patients the day of my appointment and I would need to reschedule. I had to go to the Sansum clinic (where his office happens to be located) to pick up mammogram results. As I walked in, Dr.LaPatka was walking out the back with birthday gift bags and a slice of cake. I don't begrudge anyone celebrating or taking a day off. Had he had the courtesy of giving me advance notice, I would have saved a lot of time and money. I never went back.
