I have very little body fat and have maintained a stable weight over my 40 years. I have never smoked, do not drink alcohol, do not use prescription medications and do not sun bathe. I maintain a low fat diet and do not eat meat other than fish. I jog and do calisthenics six days a week. I have been jogging regularly since I was nine. After explaining these things to the doctor, I asked if plastic surgery procedures would be any more beneficial than diet and exercise in maintaining my appearance. The doctor indicated that he was unable to answer this question. I next asked the doctor whether all patients respond the same psychologically to having foreign objects implanted in their bodies and whether this gives them an unnatural feeling and how it impacts vigorous exercise. I was also interested in knowing whether implants in the face and breast areas cause some patients to feel like they are trapped into coming back for more surgery. The doctor then indicated to me that the consultation was over and asked that I please leave.
