Years ago I had the privilege and honor to have Dr. Lewis as an employer. I can say with all honesty, he was the most dedicated doctor. While he wasn't known to be formal or pretentious, he was always dedicated to providing the best care for children. Mine included. He told me once he went into peds because he liked kids, they were genuine (like the doctor). His policy, was if a child was sick and needed seen, they were seen. Often times he would (And I mean often) he would stay late no matter how long it took he would see the children that were sick. As a mom, when your baby is sick your terrified and to have a doctor that cares and doesn't blow you off is priceless. I miss his ethics and humor. His mannerisms were calm, and cheerful even when he was sick himself he would still always be there for his patients. He is a 5 star doctor for sure.

Many years ago this Dr saved my son's hearing, and maybe his life. Previous doctors had kept prescribing penicillin for my son's ear ache. By the time we visited Dr Lewis, my son's ear was running with pus and blood. Dr Lewis knew immediately that my son was presenting evidence of an allergic reaction to penicillin.
