A real hassle to get prescriptions filled, even if you have annual check ups. I'm not talking narcotics or anything. I'm talking recurring things a lot of us need to stay well like thyroid and hypertension medication.

Everytime a prescription expired I would have to make an appointment before she would approve a refill....even if I had just been in for a physical or something else. Many times I ended up completely running out and not having the meds I needed to stay well because there were no appointments available that fit my work schedule. This would result in my labs or BP being off. All because she "denied" (yes that is the word the people who call would used) the pharmacy request for a refill. A couple times they would only give me a one month refill instead of three. Since my insurance requires 3 months for recurring prescriptions, they charge me more for one month. It took three phone calls each time to get this across to them.

In the best interest of my health I have moved on. I need these recurring meds on a regular basis to stay well and don't need a doctor who continually makes decisions not in my best interest.

Would rather speak with drug reps than patients.
