My mission is to listen to the patient and come to an understanding what symptoms have brought them to the doctor. With this information I can tailor an approach individualized for each patient. Appropriate testing and followup can generally lead to a definitive diagnosis allowing us to proceed with the best therapy.
The number one goal is to feel well and secondly to make sure we are doing everything right so we don't end up with a problem.

After my (only) heart attack in 2000 I came to see Dr. Peterson. I was scared, disillusioned with the cardiologist I had see prior to my heart attack. That doctor didn't take my complaints seriously. Upon release from hospital after my heart attack, I saw Dr. Peterson. He is a warm person, listened to me intently and reassured me. His staff then, as now gave me confidence that I had found the right physician. He is kind, personable and always there for me. My husband, Jim, and I value Dr. Peterson highly, as we do his staff. George and Stanley are professional, and pleasant. We can't say enough about the entire team, from the ladies in the front to the staff, including the nurses in the back. Good Job, Dr. Peterson and entire team.
