They didn't take time to ask about my concerns, my questions and my appointment seemed rushed. They did not knock before entering the exam room, and chose to just barge right in. As a matter of fact, so did her nurse, with whom she had a full conversation about her policies of the office who also, had a total disregard for my appointment time. ((I really don't need to hear about your office policy and the problem of the woman who called and asked to be seen as a well check up, but was actually a sick visit)) It caught me off guard and I was very uncomfortable. I was very surprised that they are still practicing while treating patients this way. In fact, they were downright degrading and I didn't feel respected at all. Examines you with your pants on, with only one leg off. Actually, she was on her cell phone on I believe a personal phone call for about half of my appointment, then had the nerve to lecture me about wearing an underwire bra and how men are unfaithful and that I need to be more careful about birth control, and STD's (she's correct, but ok, I have a mother to lecture me, Dr. Joshi treats women if they have a problem.. correct?) after telling her I was exclusive with my boyfriend (who I am still with for 3 years now and was married for 17 years prior to that) also lectured about how long it had been since I was last seen and that I only come there when I have a problem...made generalizations about me while she did not ask about how I was or else I would have told her that I had been through a divorce and was depressed and was overdue, I admit for a regular appointment.. which effected me emotionally, she did not care. The topper, I went in for an unusual discharge, she tested and treated for all STDs and I never got a call to hear that results were positive or negative..better yet, I went to the office weeks later because she would not return my calls, and anytime I requested to find out results, they would not give me the results !! I had no choice, however was glad to go to a new GYN and had to have all of the same tests done over because Dr. Joshi would not make MY test results available.... who does she think she is?? I could be dying and the woman did not care..BIG THUMBS DOWN!!
