Dr. Florman was on duty the night my brother ended up in the Emergency Room at Maine Med with headaches. It turns out he had a cavernous angioma and AVM. Having worked in the ER for 10 years, I knew this was not great. When my mom and I arrived at Maine Med with the rest of the family, Dr. Florman put us all at ease (not an easy job with my family) and addressed all of our concerns with understanding, compassion and a sense of humor. My brother had the surgery and Dr. Florman even provided a picture of my brother's brain just to show that, indeed, there was something in there! We will be forever grateful to Dr. Florman and I highly recommend him.
