Dr. Muz was determined to clear my acne, and he explained the course of action well, but when the first treatment wasn't working, he would not listen to me. He refused to acknowledge several well-known side effects of the medications which he prescribed. He didn't care at all about how I felt. As acne can be an emotionally difficult experience, he should have taken extra steps to ensure that I was comfortable and that he was hearing what I had to say. Instead, he was very insensitive. He didn't take any time to get to know me as a person - I just felt like another name in his list of patients. He eventually gave me the medication I wanted to be on (Accutane), but it was very difficult to convince him of what I wanted and what my body's responses to the drugs were. Would not recommend to others, unless you don't mind a dermatologist who lacks social skills and courtesy.

I definitely do NOT recommend this practice! This medical office is very disorganized. Their staff was not that friendly, and didn't go out of their way to make me feel welcome. I had to wait a while after I arrived for my son's appointment and dozed off waiting. My son had warts on his hand that were made much worse by the medication the nurse practitioner prescribed. I don't think she knew what she was doing. Several hours after the appointment the warts became black and blue and blew up to the size of a small balloon which was quite alarming. I called for an emergency appointments as I had to send my son to overnight camp in two days. The nurse scraped at the warts and I believe caused an infection. I had to send my son off to camp with the palms of his hands all infected which made me quite upset. Their billing department is also disorganized as they did not have the correct information for us and we kept getting billed for over a year.
