Our three year old son was born with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome. Dr. Peeler performed the life-saving, Norwood, Glenn, and Fontan procedures on our son. We cannot express how thankful we are for Dr. Peeler and his team at Levine Children's Hospital. We met Dr. Peeler when I was 18 weeks pregnant with our son and had just received the news of our son's condition. After meeting him and discussing with him the procedures, my husband and I felt confident that he was the surgeon for us. We were not wrong. Dr. Peeler was excellent and our son is doing well today because of him and his team! He is the best of the best!

I cannot put into words what a blessing from God Dr. Peeler & his staff are. In September of 2013, I had to have open heart surgery. It was actually my 3rd. My pulmonary valve had started to narrow from my previous surgery & was causing my heart to have to work too hard. Dr. Peeler went in & replaced my pulmonary valve. Not only is he skilled, but he is wise as well. They originally thought they were going to have to repair my aortic valve as well because it had enlarged from the excessive work it was having to do, but well doing the surgery, Dr. Peeler made a judgement call that it was not worth the risk to repair it at that time & he believed the aortic valve would in essence fix itself once the pulmonary valve was replaced. It is now March 2014 & I have had numerous tests showing that Dr. Peeler made the right call. I would trust my life & anyone I love in the hands of Dr. Peeler. He is a phenomenal surgeon & you KNOW that he cares about each & everyone single one of his patients.
