I commend Dr. Somers on his ability to tell me what exactly was wrong with me, albeit I already knew the main issue the second time I went to him. But his bedside manner, especially the second time around, left something to be desired. He came in late, briefly looked at my ankle, pulled up the diagnosis online, showed me, talked to me for 5 minutes and left, talking on his way out. This gave me little time to think about any questions I had, and when I asked them to ask him to come back for a few questions, I had to wait another half hour, he came back in annoyed and stern, like I was a bad kid. No one has treated me like that in over 30 years! And this from someone who charged me $250 for a visit. Then he made some derogatory "joke" about women. When you have a medical issue, you don't feel well and you feel vulnerable, you hope you don't get an insensitive uncaring dr., but I did.
