About

Kathleen J Meyer, DO

“Parents come to us when their new baby is colicky or having problems nursing. Lactation specialist often refer them to us when they see issues that require a different approach. Conventional medicine doesn’t offer much help for colicky babies; but we can.
Using gentle Osteopathic Manipulation, I have treated thousands of babies and still am continually amazed at how effective OMT is for colic, poor feeding, constipation, sleep problems and much more.”
Dr. Kathleen Meyer graduated from the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine, Fort Worth, Texas and completed an internship at Lakeview Hospital, Wauwatosa, Wisconsin and a Fellowship in neuromusculoskeletal medicine at Ft. Worth, TX.

I saw Dr. Meyer in place of my regular physician who was on vacation. I was disappointed in her lack of personal/professional interest as to why I scheduled this appointment. I found her abrupt as she would ask some questions of me only to interrupt as I tried to deliver the answer. I felt she was a bit self serving -a get me in - run me thru, - and get me out type attitude. I told her how important she was before leaving and that a pleasant attitude goes a long way with a patient and can help them deal better with what is happening to them. Her response was "is there anything else I can help you with"? Her answer left me with a strange & helpless feeling.
