Dr. Calzada should have chosen a different profession. As a GI doctor, he is likely to treat many alcoholics. And I understand that the complications of alcoholism are self induced. However, a doctor in his field shouldn't loathe alcoholics quite so much. Instead of answering questions, his preference is to give a surmon about his past experience. The medical complaint of the patient seem secondary to his rant. None of the questions that were asked of him were answered. The answers that were provided were along the line of because this is how it is, but not why it is this way. Very frustrating! During the entire time we spoke he continued to back step in order to make it clear that he was done. Total time with doctor was three minutes. He may be competent, but patients will never know based on the time he's willing to spend with his patients.

I can not speak the the office or personnell as I saw him at the hospital. I will find a different GI doctor.
