Dr. Scott Tenner serves as Director of Brooklyn Gastroenterology and Endoscopy Associates and The Greater New York Endoscopy Surgical Center. He also serves as an Associate Professor of Medicine at the State University of New York. Dr. Tenner received his Doctorate in Medicine, Masters in Cell Biology, and Masters in Public Health at The George Washington University, Washington DC. He completed his training in Gastroenterology and Endoscopy at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School, Boston. Board Certified in both Medicine and Gastroenterology, he has served as Chief of the Division of Gastroenterology at Maimonides Medical Center, President of the New York Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, and as a NY Governor for the American College of Gastroenterology. He currently sits on the National Affairs Committee for the American College of Gastroenterology, and both the Health and Public Policy Committee and Practice Management Committee for the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. Actively involved in teaching and research, Dr. Tenner has authored over 200 abstracts, papers, chapters and books. With a focus on Diseases of the Pancreas, Dr. Tenner serves as a speaker, reviewer, and moderator in subjects of Pancreatic disease at National Scientific Meetings and is currently authoring guidelines for the College on the Management of Acute Pancreatitis.

Highly recommend this doctor, this office, this group. This doctor is a Professor of Medicine and trained half the gastroenterologists in Brooklyn!!! He was trained in Gastroenterology and taught at Harvard Medical in Boston. He clearly has brought Harvard Medical to Brooklyn!

He saved my life by removing a 3 cm polyp. Another gastroenterologist stated I needed surgery. Dr Tenner did it in his office Center in 10 minutes. Staff are amazing. I highly recommend Dr Tenner
