We visited Pediatric Pulmonology the week after my 24-week preemie was discharged from a 3-month stay in the NICU. They told me we would be receiving her first Synagis injection. We sat in a waiting room full of croupy children (understandable) only to find out they didn't have her medicine in and would call me when it came in. SIX WEEKS LATER, they still have not called me and we are in the third month of RSV season without a single Synagis injection for my daughter. I call them every single week and they blow me off every time - telling me they don't know where it is or when it's coming in, and they will call me back. They never do. Then today they tell me it's MY job to call Medicaid to request Synagis. Bullshit. I am seeking a referral to another pulmonologist and would not recommend this place to anyone. They clearly don't care about anything but money!
