Made an 11am appointment and saw one of the doctors for merely 2 minutes after waiting for 3 hrs!!
When I asked the front desk how long it would take, they wouldn't give me a straight answer, they kept saying they werent sure but it wouldn't take long. If they were at least honest about the wait, I wouldve went out to grab something to eat.
Do NOT go here if you're going for something simple, like a check up or contact lenses, there are plenty of other places with better services and no waiting. If you have serious eye problems, then maybe its actually worth the wait, I can't say since I never met Dr. Fong.
The assistants, who probably are not even licensed medical personnel, performed most of the assessments, which i think is unethical. The doctor performed one assessment- he took a quick look at my retinas, while the rest of the eye examination was done by the assistants in the colored scrubs. No one introduced themselves or explained the procedures, not even the doctors - Im not even sure which doctor I saw today.
When I questioned the assistant about some of the stuff and what she was doing, she would roll her eyes, scoff (as if she was annoyed), and couldn't answer my questions (which is why I assume they're not licensed but I could be wrong) and wanted me to just sit there like a lab rat while she does her routine. She was coming towards me with medicated eyedrops which would dilate my pupils - this is something you should definitely explain to patients- medications, the side effects, what it is, etc...
Im not sure if she was using the equipment correctly, one of the equipment came so close to my eye, that it would touch my eyelid when I blinked and that certainly cant be sanitary if she does that with every patient.
Overall, I would never ever go here again and I dont recommend this place to anyone else.
