Dr Mazza has practiced podiatric medicine and surgery in San Diego since 1980. In addition to private practice,he served for 25 years as a Clinical Instructor in the Division of Orthopedics, UCSD Medical Center, and UCSD Orthomed Clinic, and as Director of Podiatric Services for the UCSD Diabetes Center. He was honored to serve as President of the San Diego County, and California Podiatric Medical Associations. Dr Mazza has also been a Rotary International, Chula Vista member for 30 years.

Dr Mazza has been married for more than 35 years to Karen, and they share four children and eight grandchildren. In his time away from the clinic, he enjoys boating, hunting, fishing, and camping.

Dr Mazza supports patients in both English and Spanish.

I had a very good experience with Dr Mazza. He was very knowledgeable and listened to what I had to say about my very severe plantar fasciitis/torn plantar fascia. Unlike my previous podiatrist who only made the problem worse, he encouraged me to stick with a long term plan that eventually not only got me back on my feet again but also playing tennis for the first time in 15 years without pain. My highest recommendation.

I never have to worry about them overbooking appointments. They definitely believe in quality over quantity here and it is much appreciated. I love that they are always more than happy to answer my questions, and actually welcome questions. The staff is the very friendly and welcoming. They are so warm and professional, and make the whole experience that much better. I feel they go out of their way to accommodate my schedule. They always go above and beyond to help me with anything I need.
