The procedure when bad and during the injection I started to get the feeling of razor blades down the inside of my arm to my fingers. I started to cry and asked him to stop. One he stopped injecting he had his nurse come over and pat me on the arm and tell me I was ok. Then he said lets push through this. I had to stay for 15 min after the procedure to see how I was doing. When the nurse came in I told her I couldn’t get my shirt on without help. I ended up losing feeling in my thumb and 2 fingers for over a month. When I called back to tell them what was up they told me just to call back after 7 day and see if it was better. I found out he wrote in my chart the the procedure went well and I handled it well. I never had trouble with my arm and hand before this it was only my neck. To this day I have trouble with that arm and hand.
This provider is unprofessional and unethical at best. I had an appointment for a injection/procedure with this doctor and I was never given a prep sheet or any instructions prior to the procedure nor did I know of any special precautions or preparations. The doctor become very irritated with me when he realized I was hesitant at going thru with the procedure and yelled at me for not being prepared (when his own staff was really at fault, for not giving me any prep instructions or prep sheet). The doctor told me never to come back to his office again - which I wasn't planning on anyways. But essentially, he blamed me for his own staff's shortcomings. But that isn't the worst of it. He apparently felt he needed to be paid for his time anyways, because he falsified my medical records making it look like I had had the procedure done and my insurance company (and eventually me) were charged for the procedure that never happened. I guess he felt he had to recoup the loss of whatever time they set aside for the procedure.
