Jacqueline Malekirad, MD, received her medical education at the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle in 2011. She later went on to complete her residency in internal medicine at Greenwich Hospital Yale New Haven Health in 2015 and her fellowship in Hematology/Oncology at Scripps Clinics in San Diego in 2018. Dr Malekirad decided to pursue medicine because she wanted to dedicate her life to alleviate pain and suffering in others. She loved the field of oncology because of its scientific aspect and fast pace in developing new diagnostic and treatment approaches. However, as a target of religious discrimination and persecutions, she was deprived of college education in her homeland in Iran.

My grandma was diagnosed with MDS a year ago and was not treated adequately. He was to busy and was only in town Mondays and Wedensdays. We took her to the ER on Christmas Eve for a blood transfusion and they were in disbelief by her condition. The only reason we took her there is because he was to busy to get her in and wanted her to wait till after Christmas. They gave her platelets and blood and discovered that she now had acute leukemia. We went to dr ciarolla as soon as he made time and he told us that it wasn't true and that hospital staff was inadequate. He did his own test and it was true. He waited for chemo because she had a fever. On Friday, January 11 th she was taken to the ICU and the nurse called him to give us advice on what to do. He refused to talk to us and said he would be here on Monday, knowing she wouldn't make it through the night. She passed away the next day. We have no idea how long she had the leukemia and he never once tested her for it. She was strong and only 75 years old. She was a fighter but was placed in the hands of a negligent doctor. Please be careful with this doctor and don't trust any of his decisions. He should NOT be in this profession and I only hope he has not made the mistakes to anyone like he did with my grandma. She trusted him.

Getting an appointment at this office wasn't too difficult. They never take that extra step to make me feel special. I haven't ever felt that they care enough to get to know me and that I'm almost an irritation. They didn't tell me anything about my treatment options. I left feeling very confused and frustrated. I wasn't too impressed with their office, I could tell they didn't take much pride in it's appearance.

The doctors were not helpful and didn't make me feel good. The nurses were LESS than knowledgable. The staff was not professional. Don't go to this center
