I'm 31 years old, and we (my husband and I) visited Dr. Burstyn's office to have an appointment at 10 am. The scheduling was unorganized. The first thing after entering the office and giving insurance cards was the secretary almost jumping at us with the demand to pay - even without seeing the doctor. Ok, we paid and took our seats.

We arrived to the office half and hour earlier than the exam to fill the paperwork. However, after 1 hour of wait, and since I was not feeling good, my husband approached the staff to get the reason for such a long wait. "She came late today and has an emergency now. Your appointment was re-scheduled to 10:30am instead of 10am". Her secretary lied to us about making a call to reschedule - we did not receive any calls.

We expressed displeasure that an emergency of one patient should not create an emergency for another patient. Ok, we went back and this time waited for another 1 hour 30 minutes before my husband approached her again - and was told exactly the same thing - that Dr. Burstyn has an emergency. Meanwhile ALL of the other 14 patients in the waiting room were received by Dr. Burstyn. Dr Burstyn was very inattentive and irresponsible - did not ask or made no inquires to her staff about us - why we are waiting so long. I have never in my life faced such rudeness, and would not recommend her to anybody. The girl at the front desk purportedly went to Dr. Burstyn to tell her about us, but we still waited another 1.5 hours before leaving and not seeing a doctor.
