Staff was excellent, and I hear that the other optometrists at this location are good.

I have been visiting optometrists regularly for twenty years, but Dr. Snyder was the most unpleasant. Dr. Snyder was unaccountably rude and totally dismissive of my thoughts and questions about my prescription. As he did the exam, he often did not ask me which lens was better, but would say for me "this one is better", which I have never had an optometrist do before. When he told me my current prescription was too strong and I wanted to compare his recommendation with my current prescription a little more, he became really defensive and essentially told me that if I wanted to strain my eyes, that was my business and that he wasn't going to argue with me. I am totally discouraged at the fact that I wasted my one eye exam per year on this jerk, and I came away with no eyeglasses prescription, because I honestly didn't trust his exam results.
