This man was my father's cardiologist at the time of his death. My father suffered a heart attack in November 2010. We immediately called an ambulance and the doctor's office. He or his office made assurances to a family member that he would meet us at the hospital. He never showed up! Ever! He neither made arrangements for a replacement to come visit my father, nor did he himself ever show his face. We left my father in that hospital (now defunct) for 4 days, during which time they diagnosed him with water on the heart. They began feeding him water pills. After the four days, we moved my father to the care of another doctor in Opelika Alabama and to the hospital there. They realized that the other hospital had severely dehydrated him and had to give him IVs to rehydrate. To this date, we have neither seen or heard again from this doctor.

This doctor also recognized that my Dad had a sleep apnea. He did provide a machine for its treatment, but represented the machine as a CPAP when it was actually a BPAP. The BPAP kept cutting off air prematurely and made one feel as if it were sufficating you in the middle of a breath. Instead of recognizing this fact and replacing it with a CPAP, they kept trying to adjust it. They never did get it to work, and my father sent it back in frustration. IMO, this also rushed the inevitable. They should've tried a different type of machine!

My rating for this doctor would be a set of negative stars if I had the option. I would not trust this doctor for treatment, nor would I recommend him to anyone else, ever.

This thing made me choose a star, but as I said above, don't believe it.
