I have been a patient with Lin for a couple of years. His financial status is unknown. I had a HMO health plan which I pay $20 for co pay for injections each visit. Since a few months ago, I started getting harrassment from his billing clerk for a bill for $80. I requested for a proof why they think I owe $80. The clerk showed me a balance sheet only she can understand. I paid. Again, the clerk asked for another $40. This time, I demanded for all cancel checks. I do keep duplicated check books. Those were given to my accountant for tax return. Remember he is asking for something back in November. We are in June of 2013. It is totally not worth the time to fight with the billing clerk. I continue to receive statements. Lin got on the phone to harrass me too. I don't need this over $40. My advice to all patients : do not go to this allergist. He will ask you to pay surprise bills over 6 months ago. He refused to give me the injections already paid for when I plan on switching allergist.
