I offer gentle, supportive psychotherapy and counseling for people experiencing depression, anxiety, grief and loss, trauma, life changes, and family of origin issues. Working from a person-centered perspective, I help people reconnect with their inner wisdom and reclaim aspects of themselves that have become lost.
Please note: I am bound by the ethical standards of my profession to protect my clients' privacy, which means I cannot reveal their identities in any way, and cannot even say whether or not I've seen someone as a client. Because of this, I cannot respond to public reviews (both positive and negative) of my work.
If you've had a negative experience with me, I encourage to contact me directly so that I can work with you to resolve the problem. And if you'd like to post a positive review, know that doing so has the potential to identify you as a client in a public web space. Consider writing to me to give me your feedback instead. Thanks!
ServicesMy clients describe me as patient, accepting, and a good listener. I see my role as a collaborative partner and guide, and I believe that everyone has the potential to heal and create satisfying lives for themselves.

I rarely give unfavorable reviews, and I regret having to do so in this case. The challenges I brought to this therapist were not unusual. Depression, some anxiety, and my endless concern about being too fat. Instead of getting compassion I felt judged. Instead of giving me tools to use, this therapist just told me I would probably be in therapy for years. I could only afford to go in twice a month, and she insisted this wasn't enough. After I left her practice I found someone truly wonderful, understanding and helpful. My message to you is this: KEEP LOOKING if you find a dud like this one.
