FT is OK if you are looking for a paid shoulder to cry on, but don't expect her to engage in an open, nonjudgment, and useful discussion of your problems. She considers herself a psychoanalyst (though she is still just a candidate.) Your job is to talk for 50 minutes (lying on the couch is optional) and hers is to listen and offer the occasional observation. If you fancy yourself as Woody Allen you may get on fine with FT. But if you need help with real world problems you will be wasting your time and money.
