I did not find the experience with Dr. Petrich to be cost-effective or valuable in any way. My ex husband and I had decided before how we wanted to divide everything and make our childcare decisions. I feel like Dr. Petrich knowingly kept us there for more time than necessary just to make the bill larger. I felt that at least two of the meetings were completely unnecessary and many of the things she told us were simply not true. I had to hire an attorney to file my paperwork for me and as he looked over everything he found a great deal that needed to be changed. He said that it would have made much more sense to just hire an attorney that would also file and also someone who is familiar with the county courts. My lawyer was less expensive than Dr. Petrich and I feel like he did more for us to help us navigate the process than she did. I absolutely would never recommend anyone to use Dr. Petrich as a mediator unless you want to just throw money away.
