I have specialized in affair repair, working with those who have experienced and affair or lived in a family where an affair(s) was experienced. Learning to trust again is a process and can be achieved. The theory of Murray Bowen, M.D. informs my work. I have taught Bowen Family Systems Theory to hundreds of clients and students. In addition to my private practice I am an adjunct professor at both The Chicago School of Professional Psychology and Argosy University.
I am currently expanding my practice to include working with church and corporate boards. Boards that are unable to tolerate disagreements and conflict will tend to develop intense coalitions or will mirror the wishes of the CEO or pastor. The challenges of today, let alone tomorrow, require full participation of all board members for the organization to successfully transition through the current economic and cultural challenges. I assist boards to be more effective and efficient in their efforts to meet these tests.
