the service I received at this facility, I have to do it. like many others commentators, I had a horrible experience with the staff here, namely the office manager. In my opinion, not only she is improperly trained and cannot answer basic questions, she is also horribly rude, bossy, big liar, falsifier, deceiver, and storyteller. Why in the world one would hire someone with such a poor attitude to interact with the public is just incomprehensible, and certainly doesn't inspire confidence.
From my experience, long waiting times (2-3 hours wait on the average every time) due to over booking patients and having one over worked dentist. Many times, I had to reschedule because I couldn't bare the wait any longer (they claim having emergencies). They were eager to reschedule (I am sure they billed my insurance company for office revisits). Also, they claim work performed or to be performed other than cleaning/minor work is not covered by the insurance company. In this case, if the patient is willing to pay, then the dentist will perform the work immediately, thus taking time from other patients (that is what they call emergency and why patients have to wait and wait!!!). It is all about making money and more money.
Regardless, and recently, the office manager, got so pissed off just because I rescheduled my appointment twice due to health issues and getting sick (even though, I called to reschedule at least two days in advance). She gave me an appointment for December which is 3 months from the date. Why 3 month wait?? she said, because you already cancelled twice and the office is too busy claiming they have to fit in patients that want to use their benefits before the year end, also they have too many emergencies, and told me if I am not happy I can take it up with my insurance company and go to another dentist. I reported this issue to my insurance company. However, when Insurance representative contacted this office, office manager lied and told the rep that I called on the same day to reschedule and denied what she told me about the office wants to fit in patients to use their benefits before the year end and having too many emergencies. I'll be reporting this to California Dental Board and BBB.
What is the purpose of making appointment if patients have to wait several hours? Also, if patients arrived late, they'll have to wait longer as their time will be giving to someone else. Dentists should be liable for over booking, mistreatment of patients, and should be subject to fines and penalties for abusing the system.
