The service at Dr. Schauer's dental office is absolutely horrible. The receptionist is extremely rude. She doesn't smile at you when you walk into the office. She's reading a book while trying to help you and becomes very snappy when you ask her questions. Now that was my experience when visited the office six months ago and today I received the same attitude from the receptionist. Today I called his office because I received a bill from for $100 after I told the receptionist that I was unable to make the appointment as a result of loosing my job and my insurance along with it. She never mentioned that I would receive a $100 bill when we spoke prior to my scheduled appointment. Today, she practically yelled at me insisting it wasn't her responsibility to cancel appointments on time. Her tone of voice was completely unacceptable. I mentioned that I didn't like her tone of voice and requested that I speak to a manager and she HUNG UP ON ME! I'd really like to speak to someone about this issue as it needs to be resolved in a adult manner. Honestly, it's extremely unfortunate that Dr. Schauer has such rude staff because he does very good work.
