History
Misha Ruth Cohen, OMD, L.Ac. has been in practice more than 36 years.
She founded Chicken Soup Chinese Medicine in April 1990, just a few months after the momentous Loma Prieta earthquake in the Mission District of San Francisco.
This integrative Chinese medicine practice was designed to continue to serve people with complex medical conditions such as hepatitis C, HIV, cancer side effects, metabolic syndrome, pre-diabetes and gynecological issues such as endometriosis, HPV conditions and infertility.
Chicken Soup was also developed to encourage people who are interested in Chinese medicine or who are pursuing a career in Chinese medicine and bodywork to become interns in the clinic.
Misha Cohen is a research specialist at UCSF and has been doing herbal research since the mid-1980's.
The clinic provides fertile ground for development of new formulas and treatments for complex conditions. Misha has also designed herb formulas for prominent herb companies.
