Unprofessional in just about every sense of the word. Renee was very rude, even to the point of hostility. She was inappropriately dressed, carried her dog around with her and talked on her cell phone repeatedly instead of paying attention to the paying client in front of her. She was late for my apt and told me she does not show up early for apts because she does not want to wait or be stood up. What??? It’s okay to make the client wait and think they’ve been stood up??? I waited outside because the building was locked and she was not answering the phone. I ended up leaving and driving away but did return when she called me on my cell a few minutes later and complained rudely at me for leaving. Anyway, the place was not as clean as I had expected. The colon hydrotherapy room was iffy at best. Lots of dirt build-up on things. The blinds do not give complete privacy from the outside and the tub you lay on is right in front of the window which is right on the sidewalk. But more so, there was a big hole in the door because the door knob was removed and the hole never filled in. And I am laying there undressed with a tube up my hind end! The other hydrotherapy room door did not close well either because I was in the front room waiting to pay when the door just opened up on its own while a poor woman was in there getting her colonic and she was completely exposed – although I was far enough away from the door that I did not see anything – fortunate for us all! There are hidden expenses that are not disclosed up front, so it costs more than you think. And of course, she tries to upsell you on other products and services which I politely declined. She has a sign suggesting how much we should tip her on top of our payment, too. She was quite harsh in comments she made towards me, telling me I needed to lose weight, and follow her advice, not what my doctor tells me. Hmmmm. I could go on as there is more, but I don’t want to be too critical. I think the thing that scared me the most was the potential un-cleanliness of the procedure room. Another client was using the room immediately following me, and it took Renee all of 60 seconds maximum to clean the room for him. And after seeing all the fecal contamination that is left behind from a colonic, that gives me HUGE pause for concern. On the positive side, the colonic does seem to do what it’s supposed to do and is not too terrible, just really messy. If you go, be sure to bring your own cleansing wipes because she only provides a roll of toilet paper and a trash can to place them in. It was pretty gross and I went home straight home to shower. Suffice it to say, I will never return to Total Body Image and I cannot recommend them to anyone based upon my personal experience. Hopefully others have not be so unfortunate...

I was very unhappy with the customer service myself and my guest received at TOTAL BODY IMAGE in Mentor. The services were good and we would both do them again just not at Total Body Image. Renee the owner was rude, abrupt and darn right brash. We also purchased our spa packages through JBDollar stretcher and we not informed by either the JBDollar website nor the owner at the time of booking the appointment that we would be required to pay taxes on the entire $265 package. We were told the "tax" was an even $20, how convenient. Seemed like more of a forced tip in my opinion.
