Vesta Gabrielle Williams has 22 years of full time practice in massage with a 1000-hour training program as a foundation. She invests a great deal into SELF-care which enables her to serve and work with clients toward their optimal health goals.
ServicesMy primary training is in Shiatsu and Therapeutic massage, which includes deep tissue massage, tmyofascial release and craniosacral therapy. Therapeutic massage typically offers more immediate relief of muscular pain and tension and overall relaxation. Myofascial Release can include Craniosacral therapy, a technique designed to balance the movements of the cranium (bones of the skull) and the sacrum (tail bone) and applies very subtle to very deep pressures against the skin. I have had significant success in using MFR for those dealing with Chronic Fatigue and Fibromyalgia Syndromes. I have found that Shiatsu tends to be the deeper, longer lasting therapy that addresses more chronic pain syndromes, physical and emotional stresses.
1. Massage increases blood flow within muscle tissue.
2. Massage increases circulation of the lymphatic system.
3. Massage releases muscle spasms.
4. Massage helps increase joint range of motion.
5. Massage helps increase deeper breathing, improving body awareness.
While massage is not meant to diagnose or treat conditions for which a medical doctor, chiropractor or physical therapist license is required, it enhances the body’s own self-healing mechanisms. Hence massage does more than just address symptoms. It touches the vitality of the whole person. Considering these facts, MASSAGE IS NOT A LUXURY!
I look forward to working with you toward achieving a healthier, happier you!Additional ServicesShiatsu, Deep tissue massage, myofascial release
