Be prepared to spend a lot of $$ and get locked into a year contract. They do not take insurance. They say they are giving you a discount price by signing a contract...not true. When you break the costs down, they are more expensive than other chiropractors; and give you less personal service. The only method of adjustment used here is an activator; which I believe is not as effective as the good ole hands on adjustment. And then there are those back scans which are a joke. Sure, they may show where your spine is weak for the moment, but a scan can read different two hours later (just another way to get into your checkbook). Also, adjustments are not done in private; they are done in front of everyone else waiting their turn so you don't have any privacy when talking with doctor; and really, who wants to discuss their condition with everyone listening? Part of this is probably because the doctor is not a good communicator and getting an adjustment is very impersonable. There are other chiropractors in the area who are more knowledgeable, reasonable and will actually build a relationship with you. Do your due diligence before getting wrapped up in an expensive contract you find yourself not happy in and then can't get out of.

My leg and back pain was significantly reduced after my third adjustment and I've been getting regular adjustments ever since. It's been very exciting to feel the reduction in pain and to see steady improvement in the quality of my life. The knoweledge that has been shared has allowed me to change many of my unhealthy habits into better ones. Since I've been coming to the clinic, I eat more nutritional foods and engage in more healthy activities. The staff is very professional, warm and always friendly. The whole experience has been a very positive and up-lifting one. My regular visits to the Petersen Chiropractic Health and Wellness Center has allowed my body to heal and feel better. It has shown me a better life-style and has helped to make me a more hopeful and confident person.
