Their office was unclean and in need of repair. When I went into a room the paper on the bed was used and a medical file was left in the room. The assistant moved the paper and took the chart after I mentioned it was there. The bed was in disrepair and there was dust, dirt, and a candy on the floor. Ew.

The waiting area was overcrowded and too small. Multiple people had to stand as there were not enough seats. Everyone was pretty much wedged in.

The staff are family so they are treated well, but don't do the same for patients. The office is also completely disorganized - stack of files and papers on desks and in filing cabinets (drawers full of paper stacks - not files). My medical records and private information and those of my children are partially missing due to one staff member being absent (their excuse) yet she was there when my medical records were mailed. It's concerning that they have my private information "somewhere". The staff were getting cranky with me that I insist they find my records. Really?

Additionally, his office hours are sparse (9:00 - 11:30; 2:00 - 3:30) and they close without notice for errands and such. For instance, I showed up (they don't make appointments - all walk-in) during their business hours and a cardboard/sharpie handmade sign on the door says "Closed for the day". This was a 2pm when they open after lunch.

He doesn't do immunizations because "he doesn't want to keep up with the FDA requirements" so patients are referred to his sister in Ewa.

They seemed stuck in the past. I was nervous about not getting the care my family and I need. Additionally, Dr. Cunanan is hard of hearing, English is his second language, and he is very old (nearly 80) with memory issues. This meant repeating information several times and he asked us the same information a few times.

Overall, I'm looking for a new provider.

They answered most of my questions but I could have used more information. Their staff was friendly enough, but they didn't go out of their way to help me. I felt like my needs were mostly met, but they didn't make any extra effort. The office was easy enough to find. If I couldn't find anyone better, I'd return again, but I'm hoping I can find better service somewhere else. Make sure to check your medical billing from this office, especially when you are making your co-payment. They seem to loose the paper work easily.
