I had an incredibly disappointing experience at Dr. Groom's office that I feel compelled to share. First and foremost, I waited an hour and a half past my appointment time, which is unacceptable. The office itself was in a deplorable state; it was clear that it hadn't been cleaned in a long time. The floors were dirty, and I even spotted a cockroach scuttling across the side table where the doctor keeps gloves, tissues, and cotton swabs. Absolutely disgusting!

To make matters worse, the walls are so thin that I could hear every detail of other patients' conversations, which is a serious breach of privacy. When Dr. Groom finally arrived, he seemed condescending and dismissive as I tried to discuss my health issues. He offered no useful information or guidance, and at one point, he stated, "I don't know what to do for you." I replied, "Well, that is real helpful," which only seemed to agitate him further. He mumbled to himself and appeared confused before storming out to another office in the back, where I could hear him talking to a computer, presumably to document patient information.

The lack of soundproofing in his office is unacceptable, as it compromises patient confidentiality and could potentially violate HIPAA regulations. This was my first visit, and it will definitely be my last. I cannot recommend Dr. Groom's office to anyone.

The doctor is nice enough. I can't really complain about his bedside manner. Although I had been to the office twice before, he acted like I was a new patient and did not look up information on previous appointments, when he did, he printed out lab tests, that he had already gone over with me at a previous appointment. I was told that I had to make an appointment to get a referral...... I had to wait 1hour and 20 minutes for this. The medical assistant was unfriendly, unwelcoming and acted like she was doing me a favor by being there. This was the third and last time I will visit this office. At each appointment, I had to wait over 1 hour. This may be because they triple book appointments, with 3 exam rooms full and waiting at all times. If I had know how terrible they were I never would have gone. They definitely favor certain clients, and make an extra effort to help those clients. A patient who came in late for her appointment, who was friendly with the staff, was taken in before me. Lastly, when I was left in the exam room, I removed the paper from the exam table, because it obviousIy was not changed from the previous patient. I would never refer any of my family and friends to go here.
