I went for my consult in June 2013. I knew I wanted a breast augmentation, but wanted more information to make an educated decision. I had 2 kids and was fairly thin and was left with a horrible body image because of my flat chest. Dr. Garritano made me feel comfortable, which is hard for me with doctors. I was completely at ease with him and he made sure that I understood what he was saying to me and he made sure that I understood my options. He didn't push for the most expensive option, he actually said the best option for me would be the saline (the cheaper option) but I felt my best option for long term was silicone. Payment was SUPER EASY!! The lady at the front desk (I know her name but am drawing a blank now โ˜บ๏ธ) is very nice and goes out of her way to make your scheduling & surgery, payment process, and everything really smooth. The doctor was actually early for surgery ( the only doctor I have had for surgery that was on time and actually early for my procedure) he made sure I was comfortable and knew what he was doing and what to expect when I woke up. I really wish for the amount of money I paid I could have gone bigger, but because of my size and my tight chest muscles I couldn't. Other plastic surgeons would have made my body fit a bigger implant, which would have came with complications without a doubt. He puts your health, reality, and morels before what you "want" he refuses to push your body beyond its limits, which is extremely admirable in a plastic surgeon. Recovery was great!! He made sure my pain medicine was working for me and he called to check up on me, not his nurse, he called me personally. I missed my 1 week appointment and didn't get a chance to call back for like a week. He called me personally and was extremely concerned. He even called my sister ( who drove me to my surgery so he had her number) looking for me and really wanted to know of I was ok, she even said he sounded extremely concerned. I have never had a doctor call me himself because I missed an appointment. Usually when you miss an appointment the secretary just calls and asks you to reschedule . If you think about it... He got his part of the almost $6,000 so why would he call me everyday, even on the weekends, until I finally called back to reschedule?! Because he actually cares about his patients!! I have never met a more caring doctor, in my opinion he went above an beyond what he was supposed to and I can't wait to go back and hopefully my muscles have stretched and I can get another procedure next year๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜ and there is no other plastic surgeon I would choose other than Dr. Garritano, he goes above and beyond and forms a connection with his patients that will be visable the first time you meet him.
