WEIRD ALLERGIES

An allergy is the immune response to a foreign substance that is considered a threat to the body. Some people have allergies on common foods and on some things which other people find it weird and unusual.

Here are some of the allergies people also experienced;

Chocolates -chocolates are the most loved and the most favorite of almost all people especially to children. But yes! Some have allergies on chocolates; it is even considered a rare allergy. This develops when a person is allergic with cocoa or other food additives in chocolates. Common symptoms include asthma, headaches, skin irritation, acne and anxiety.

Water - this is very essential for survival but some people suffer because of it. Known as aquagenic urtucaria, these results to welts, lesions and rashes that happen within 5 to 10 minutes in contact with water, symptoms can last for 15 minutes. Experts pinpoint the cause of allergy which is believed to be the additives in water rather than water itself.

Vibrations - an allergy to vibrations also exists. Is associated with mechanical vibrations such as when using the car or lawnmower. An attack would produce skin irritations like rashes and welts.

Mobile phones/iPODS - some people have allergies on the nickel and palladium metal used to make iPods and on some phones. Those who have sensitive skin might have negative reactions to the vibrations brought by phones. Symptoms include redness, itchiness, and welts.

Because of some unpredictable allergies from some foods and gadgets, it is important to know the underlying cause of the allergy to slowly resolve the problem. Awareness on many facts is also important to immediately avoid things that may affect your health.
