Castlewood Is One of the Participants at the May 2011 ITCC

Deanna James, Intake/Marketing Director of Castlewood would be attending the semi-annual conference

02 May, St.Louis, Missouri - Castlewood, a Missouri based residential eating disorder treatment center is one of the participants at the first International Treatment Centers Cooperative Conference (ITCC) of 2011. Deanna James, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Intake/Marketing Director of Castlewood is representing the center at the conference. The conference is on from the 2nd to the 4th of May 2011.

The ITCC is usually referred to as Vero Beach, to suggest the location of the conference. It is a purposely small and intimate setting for treatment centers to interact with each other in a relaxed and enjoyable environment. The conference enables participants to get to know what their co-participants have to offer so that intelligent client referrals can be made.

To Inform People that Castlewood Provides Expert Eating Disorder Treatment

"Our participation in the conference will help us share a picture of what Castlewood is capable of giving to the community of men and women," said Dr. Mark Schwartz, Clinical Co-Director of Castlewood from his office. "Through collaboration with the other professionals present at the conference, we'd be letting them know that we're available to provide expert anorexia treatment, bulimia treatment, and therapeutic assistance for other eating disorders and even anxiety disorders."

In addition to effectively addressing anorexia and bulimia, Castlewood provides therapeutic solutions for:

• Compulsive overeating
• Binge eating
• Anxiety disorders that co-occur with the eating disorder

Deanna James worked for close to a year as Assistant Program Director and Therapist for Castlewood but is now concentrating fully on her duties as Intake/Marketing Director.
