BAD EXPERIENCE WITH GREG BERLAND I have made a website to show our experience with a doctor. We brought our six year old in three times for headaches and vomiting. We were told it was a viral process. It was a Tumor the size of a tennis ball. We received a bill from the doctor soon thereafter for missing an appointment. The appointment was on the day we found the proper diagnosis. We wrote him a letter responding to the bill. It gave us a chance to vent. Greg Berland responded without first reviewing his own medical records. Listen to your children. Visit my site and you will see why I can say that.
Doctors are human. That is why it is up to the parent/patient to help the doctor achieve the proper diagnosis. We did just that. Read what happened next including a personal letter from Greg Berland himself at

I have been a patient of Dr. Berland's office since it opened. Back when Dr. McConell was there. It was wonderful and personalized and I felt a personal connection with the staff. Over the years service has become haphazard, rude, and frankly, negligent. I can't get anyone to respond to email requests for prescriptions, or lab results. Nor am i amble to get return phone calls (after 5 attempts over 10 days) I'm so sad about all of this because it is so hard to find good attentive medical care. I never see the same person twice and i havent seen Dr. Berland personally in over 3 years. He is too busy. Since they keep all medical records on a computer it takes them 20 minutes to familiarize themselves with my records before we even get into the reason for my visit. I'm not sickly, but i do require two maintenance RX's. If you need a prescription filled they tell you to have your pharmacy contact them that they will not accept refill requests from patients any longer. Really? Last week I requested my pharmacy to request a refill. When i went to pick it up it looked different and it was a generic so i didn't think much about it. i took it for about 10 days and realized they were not helping my headaches at all. Then I checked with the pharmacy to see if I had been given the wrong dosage ~ not only was it the wrong dosage it was a completely different and dangerous drug. They had called in a very strong thyroid medicine in the place of my mild headache med. i called two weeks ago and spoke with the office manager who said she would look into it and call me back immediately. Again, that was two weeks ago. Can anyone recommend a good family Dr. in the Waterchase area? We sure need one. Thanks and good luck if you choose to see PatientsFirst @ Countryway Blvd.
