Birth Network monthly meeting
Birth Network meeting on Wednesday, January 20th 6:30pm-8pm at the Whole Foods café on North Powers and North Carefree (3180 New Center Pt). Candace McCollett, CBE, CLD will be discussing "Early SROM: What Happens When Your Bag of Waters Break Before Contractions Start."
SROM can happen before labor starts, it can happen in early labor, it can happen in active labor (most common), it can happen during pushing, it can not happen at all (born in the caul). Come hear us discuss the pros and cons of early rupture of membranes, what are the scenarios if you choose to go to the hospital right away or if you choose to stay at home until active labor starts. We will also talk about ways you can avoid SROM.
BirthNetwork is a non-profit organization that meets monthly on the 3rd Wed from 6:30-8pm to offer support and information for a safe and satisfying pregnancy and childbirth. Meetings are free, families welcome!
